Firethorne
ABOUT
Firethorne is a newer master-planned community located conveniently in the western part of the Katy area, just off of the 1463 highway south of I10. This community, although south of I10, is currently zoned to Katy High School in the acclaimed Katy Independent School District. Firethorne gained momentum in the beginning stages of its existence due to a KISD rezoning of the Williamsburg Settlement neighborhood on the North side of I10. Many of the residents of that neighborhood were die-hard Katy football fans and decided to move when their community was rezoned to Morton Ranch High School, a newer school in Katy. AT that time, Firethorne offered newer homes for sale and a Katy High School Attendance Zone.
